My favourite this week is the playful Olympic Non-Events book designed by London design agency, hat-trick. As well as the book, hat-trick set up a Tumblr blog which features all the Otl Aicher-style icons. ‘Fencing stolen goods’ is my current favourite, very clever.

My choice of favourite this week is the man self proclaimed ‘The Greatest’, Muhammad Ali has become 70. His talent, charisma and strong principles can’t help but make you admire the man.

The New Year is fully underway and fitness products are a dime a dozen as resolutions are made as quickly as they are broken. The latest arrival is Nike’s ‘Fuel Band’ which aims to make fitness a game. The mobile integration tracking appeals and may just become my personal favourite for the year… well, until the next fitness gadget appears… whatever happened to Jawbone?
