Our word of the week for this week is 'Data'.
It’s always good to take-stock; to reflect on projects and the impact they’ve had; to celebrate the elements that went smoothly, and to establish how those elements could be improved next time. Data and insights play a valuable part in this.
Similarly at the planning stage of projects, we rely heavily on the data collected from a number of resources to guide us.
This week we've been gathering data from a customer survey that we distributed using MailChimp and Wufoo. Tools such as Google Analytics allow us to dig deep into client website data and guide important decisions, whilst also monitoring the effectiveness of our work.
We've also been spending some time gaining insights from this really interesting service provided by Google. Think Insights with Google gives some fascinating facts and analytical thoughts on all kinds of topics. Have a look at it here http://www.thinkwithgoogle.com/ and pay particular attention to the Planning Tools they provide.
In summary, there have been a lot of statistics and pieces of data flying around the studio this week. It all makes for useful information, which gives us knowledge. After all, knowledge is power. The more we know, we more we can contribute effective solutions to the brands we work with.
